“Looksmaxxing” streamer and influencer Clavicular speaks out after he was hospitalized on Tuesday for suspected overdose. He shared his story with his fans, calling the experience “brutal.” He tweeted along with a photo of himself after he came back home once being discharged. He said all of the substances are just a temporary solution to feel “neurotypical” while being in public. He added that obviously those are not the solution and the worst feeling of the entire experience was feeling his face drop from the life support mask.
Clavicular’s real name is “Braden Peters,” who was taken to the hospital on Tuesday. Back in the day, the influencer was livestreaming on Kick while spending time at a mall and restaurant with two other influencers, when it cut off abruptly. It sparked a real concern among fans. In the livestream, the fans saw the 20-year old slurring his words, saying repeatedly that he is “fucking destroyed” and had to sit down. He then passed out later. A video was later shared on X that showed several people taking him inside a black car. Apparently, an ambulance arrived on the scene.
Clavicular was accompanied by another influencer Androgenic. He tweeted on the issue stating that he had never seen him in that state before. And, he went from speaking to being “unresponsive” in a few seconds. Within a minute, he and the influencer understood what was going on, turned off the stream, and took him to the hospital.
Clavicular became popular for promoting extreme “looksmaxxing” because of the self-obsession of looking good. Let us understand what “looksmaxxing” is. It is an online trend, which has gained traction among young men that emphasizes maximum physical attractiveness. This effort to enhance physical attractiveness happens in extreme ways that vary from healthy grooming to dangerous grooming like bone-smashing via a hammer to improve facial features, which Clavicular advocates.
The hospitalization of the controversial streamer followed his recent headlines when he walked out of his interview with 60 Minutes Australia. His walk out happened when the interviewer Adam Hegarty asked whether he identified himself as an incel and his association with Andrew Tate.
Apparently, Clavicular is also being investigated by the Wildlife Conservation Commission and Florida Fish that appeared to show him shooting an alligator. Interestingly, last month, he was also arrested on battery charges of misdemeanor once authorities issued a warrant for his arrest. As per the report by The New York Times, the influencer also provoked a fight between two women and farmed views by posting it online.
